Presenting James Morris with a memento to mark his achievement on being named Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) earlier this year on the New Year Honours list, the New Zealand Swaythling Club met Sunday 28th April.
Members present were James Morris, Alan Tomlinson, Geoff Rau, Barry Griffith, Kadia Keller-Rice and Yvonne Fogarty.

An idyllic setting for the occasion included a ferry from Auckland to Waiheke Island where Geoff Rau lives and runs a business called Waiheke Custom Wine Tours. The first stop was for wine tastings was at Mudbrick vineyard, followed by lunch at Batch vineyard.
The trophy awarded to James Morris
