Staged at the RUI Plaza España Hotel in Madrid, Frenchman Enzo Angles and Brazil’s Bruna Takahashi emerged the respective winners of the men’s and women’s events at the Spanish Masters staged from Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th October.

At the final hurdle, Enzo Angles beat Belgium’s Cédric Nuytinck; both having ended the hopes of the host nation in the penultimate round, Enzo Angles beat Miguel Angel Vilchez, Cédric Nuytinck defeated Endika Diez.

Similarly, in the women’s event, Spanish aspirations were halted in the penultimate round.

Bruna Takahashi beat Sofia-Xuan Zhang to set up a successful title decider against Charlotte Carey of Wales, the semi-final winner in opposition to Galia Dvorak.

The second series of the Spanish Masters will be held in the same venue from Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th November.
