Ina Jozepsone partners Germany’s Sylvia Messer in women’s doubles 50-54 years

Very much a play in form at the Muscat 2023 World Veteran Championships is Latvia’s Ina Jozepsone, a member of the Swaythling Club International.

Competing in women’s singles 50-54 years she completed the opening day of action, Monday 15th December unbeaten, not only was it three wins from three matches, it was the perfect record, not one game surrendered and not one game decided by the minimal margin.

She beat India’s Trupti Machwe (11-4, 11-4, 11-9), followed by Japan’s Norie Hamajima (11-8, 11-6, 11-4) and Korea Republic’s Kang Mikyung (11-4, 11-6, 11-3).

Now on the second day of play, she partners Germany’s Sylvia Messer in women’s doubles 50-54 years.
