Staged in the South African city of Durban from Saturday 20th to Sunday 28th May, China emerged the dominant force at the 2023 ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals.
Fan Zhendong retained his men’s singles title won two years earlier in Houston, after having partnered Wang Chuqin to men’s doubles succeeded.
Two titles for Fan Zhendong, it was the same for Wang Chuqinn and Sun Yingsha. They joined forces to emerge the mixed doubles champions, before Sun Yingsha secured the women’s doubles title.
The women’s doubles was won by Chen Meng and Wang Yidi.
