Ulanbaataar, the capital of Mongolia was the home for the 1st Asian Veteran Championships, play commencing on Sunday 18th June and concluding on Friday 23rd June.
A total of 125 men and 86 women competed in seven age categories: 40-44 years / 45-49 years / 50-54 years / 55-59 years / 60-64 years / 65-69 years / 70 years and over.
Four events were staged: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles.
