Staged from Sunday 16th to Wednesday 19th July, Australia’s Lei Li Na and Yang Qian alongside Korea Republic’s Baek Youngbok emerged the most successful players at the ITTF New Taipei City Para Open 2023; each secured a maximum possible three titles.
Baek Youngbok emerged the men’s singles class 2 winner before later in the tournament, partnering colleagues to further success. He won mixed doubles class 7 alongside Shin Mi Kyoung, men’s doubles class 4 with Joo Youngdae.
Meanwhile, Lei Lin Na claimed the women’s singles class 8-9 top prize, Yang Qian prevailed in women’s singles class 10.
Together they secured the women’s doubles class 20 title; Denmark’s Peter Rosenmeier partnered Lei Li Na to mixed doubles class 17 success; Yang Qian joined forces with colleague Ma Lin to claim the mixed doubles class 20 top prize.
