China’s Fan Zhendong and Chen Meng retain top spots on the respective men’s and women’s world rankings issued by the International Table Tennis Federation on Tuesday 1st December.

It is the third edition in succession when Fan Zhendong has headed the order; overall it is his 20th appearance in first place. He first assumed the coveted position in April 2018.

Meanwhile for Chen Meng, she has reserved the prime spot unbroken since June 2019, a sum of 13 editions without a break. In total she has achieved the very heights on 18 occasions, the first being in January 2018.
