Staged from Saturday 29th July to Saturday 5th August, China’s Qian Tianyi proved the most successful player at the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games.
She completed a clean sweep of titles.
Alongside He Zhoujia and Wang Wan Xiaotong, she was a member of the successful Chinese outfit in the women’s team event; later she partnered Liu Dingshuo to mixed doubles, Zhao Shang to women’s doubles’ success.
Impressively she concluded proceedings by claiming the women’s singles title.
