It is with great sadness the passing of Odd Gustavsen, member of the Swaythling Club International, has been received.
Surrounded by members of his immediate family, he died on Tuesday 28th January following a short illness.
According to Odd’s wishes, the funeral was held in silence.
A former president of the Norwegian Table Tennis Association, Chair of the ITTF Equipment Committee from 2001 to 2013; in addition, Odd played a major role in helping establish B-71 become one of Norway’s leading clubs.
Highly respected throughout the sporting world, Odd made a major contribution to both table tennis in Norway and the International Table Tennis Federation, alongside his extensive technical knowledge, his warm and friendly nature was appreciated by all.
Our thoughts are extended to his sons Geirr and Morten, both former national team players, his family and friends.
