Zsolt-Georg Böhm won men’s singles over 60 years accounting for Denmark’s Carsten Egeholt (13-11, 11-6, 10-12, 5-11, 11-9) in the final. Meanwhile, Elmira Antonyan-Brunner struck gold in women’s singles over 70 years overcoming Ekaterina Krasnova, an independent athlete in the title decider (11-9, 11-9, 11-6). Additionally in the counterpart women’s doubles event partnering Germany’s Petra Rubin, it was bronze for Elmira Antonyan-Brunner, the pair experienced a semi-final defeat at the hands of Ekaterina Krasnova and Italy’s Sonia Milic.
