Alas for the third member of the group, Thierry Miller, also from Switzerland, it was the end of the road, competing in the Over 55 Years category, it was defeat in both the men’s singles and with Denmark’s Henrik Vendelbo in the men’s doubles. In the former Sweden’s Lars Mattsson ended progress (11-7, 11-8, 11-6), in the latter the combination of Germany’s Piotr Frackowak and Finland’s Jorma Lahtinen
